Nurses’ union, hospital at standoff

Dubuque - A daylong return to the bargaining table resulted in another standoff between Dubuque’s Finley Hospital and striking nurses Monday.

Hospital spokeswoman Sue Chapman said that she had been encouraged by the day’s discussions and that “significant progress” was being made between the two groups.
