Nurses picket at Corpus Christi Medical Center as negotiations continue over staffing levels

Rhiannon Meyers, Corpus Christi Caller, February 6, 2012 Corpus Christi - Members of a nursing union Monday held informational pickets during shift changes outside of Corpus Christi Medical Center hospitals as they continue to negotiate with the hospital system about staffing levels. The union has argued that chronic understaffing is eroding patient care at Corpus Christi Medical Center hospitals, which are owned by HCA in Nashville.
