Activists Kick Off New Campaign for Health Care Justice in Massachusetts (with link to photos)

About 75 people from a broad range of community and labor organizations, as well as many legislative leaders and academics, came together on January 25 to launch a campaign to advance "Medicare for All" insurance reform in Massachusetts. The group adopted a mission statement and laid the groundwork for a broad-based campaign to build a majority in the Legislature for a state version of "Medicare for All" reform. Four campaign sub-committees were formed and they will meet over the next month or so. A second general campaign meeting was set for March 22 in Boston.
